Unicast/Manycast SNTP server permission

You can use the dialog box to manage a list of IP/mask pairs, the unicast/manycast SNTP server use the list for access control, so that only those clients known to be trusted will be accepted. To access the dialog box, click on the "Permission control..." button in the "Server - SNTP" page on the "Main window".

IP/mask pairs

The list box displays all IP/mask pairs, and allows you to manage them easily. The context menu will be displayed when you right click in the list box, it contains some submenu items for quick operation. You can click on the column head to sort the IP/mask pairs in the list by that column. Each IP/mask pair in the list has a check box to the left of the pair. You can select multiple IP/mask pairs in the list box by checking the check box. The selected IP/mask pairs will be used by the unicast/manycast SNTP server for access control.

New...

Clicking on the button opens the "New IP/mask pair (Unicast/Manycast SNTP server)" dialog box in order to create a new IP/mask pair and add it to the "IP/mask pairs" list box above.

Edit...

Clicking on the button opens the "Edit IP/mask pair (Unicast/Manycast SNTP server)" dialog box in order to modify the IP/mask pair that's highlighted in the "IP/mask pairs" list box above.

Delete

Clicking on the button deletes all of the highlighted IP/mask pairs from the "IP/mask pairs" list box above.

Clear all

Clicking on the button deletes all of the IP/mask pairs in the "IP/mask pairs" list box above.

Access control mode

Specifies the access control mode. It indicates the IP/mask pairs listed above will be used to deny or allow time clients access to the unicast/manycast SNTP server.

Deny pairs in the list

If you choose to use this mode, all NTP/SNTP unicast and manycast request packets which sent by the unicast and anycast time clients in the "IP/mask pairs" list will be rejected.

Allow pairs in the list

If you choose to use this mode, only NTP/SNTP unicast and manycast request packets which sent by the unicast and anycast time clients in the "IP/mask pairs" list will be received.

OK

Click on the button to save and apply all the changes you have made to the dialog box, and then close the dialog box.

Apply

Click on the button to save and apply all the changes you have made to the dialog box.

Cancel

Click on the button to close the dialog box without implementing any changes to the dialog box.

Help

Click on the button to open the help window.
