How to synchronize all computers in your LAN

  1. Install the Net Time Server & Client to a computer as time server in your LAN.
  2. Optionally, Open the Net Time Server & Client in your time server, and choose the "Client" item then choose the "Unicast/Manycast" item on the tree menu to set the "Client - Unicast/Manycast" page, synchorinize your time server to Internet time server or other unicast/manycast time server, see also the "How to synchronize your computer to time server". Or choose the "Client" item then choose the "Broadcast/Multicast" item on the tree menu to set the "Client - Broadcast/Multicast" page, synchorinize your time server to other broadcast/multicast time server.
  3. If your time server will work with SNTP protocol, choose the "Server" item then choose the "SNTP" item on the tree menu to display the "Server - SNTP" page, and set the "Binding port", "Version" and "Stratum", etc.

    Note:

    If your server will not synchronize with an external time source and it is in an isolated LAN, please check the "Ignore the server synchronized status in response" and "Use transmit timestamp as reference timestamp in response" boxes.

  4. If your time server will work with Time protocol, choose the "Server" item then choose the "Time" item on the tree menu to display the "Server - Time" page.
  5. If your time server will work with UnixTime protocol, choose the "Server" item then choose the "UnixTime" item on the tree menu to display the "Server - UnixTime" page.
  6. Install the Net Time Server & Client to other computers as client in your LAN. Set these computer synchorinize to your time server. See also the "How to synchronize your computer to Internet time server".
  7. Your time server can work with several protocols and in several modes at the same time.
